Bread Queues

going home today, i passed through burg as per usual. i was rather astounded at the length of the bread queues. yes believe it. in zimbabwe people line up to buy bread. the petrol queues started earlier this week and i doubt we'll have unleaded petrol for quite a while. there's been some milk available and it seems like you can get sugar and mealie meal but this is a constant cyle. you wont find either of them in the country at the same time.
yet people are not too depressed. things could be worse. a lot worse. we still have cars and we can still go to school. in a very funny way we are still blessed. people on the street still laugh and guys are still making passes at girls....(thank you GOD!) and zimbabweans are still buying their TAKEAWAYS! we have something to be greatful for.
for those zimbo's overseas.....imitshova/E.T's/ Pirate Taxi's went up to 50 bucks like last week. in the end things are still tough....
much love
